Product introduction
DM3E series stepper drives are all-digital bus-type stepper drives independently developed by Shenzhen Lexai Intelligent Control Co., Ltd., based on the ETC COE+CANopen DSP402 protocol, and can be seamlessly connected to the controller/driver that supports this standard protocol .
Compared with pulse type stepping, DM3E series stepping products have the following advantages:
♦Reduce communication interference and extend communication distance
In the pulse communication mode, because the transmission cable of the pulse signal is very susceptible to electromagnetic interference, the reliability of communication is reduced. The EtheiCAT bus communication can significantly improve the reliability of communication due to the error detection, restriction and processing mechanism contained in the protocol, reduce the influence of interference on the command and extend the communication distance.
♦Improve sports performance
The trajectory planning in the step aperiodic synchronization mode of bus communication type is realized in the drive. The controller only needs to transmit the target position, speed, acceleration and other information to the driver. Therefore, the driver can predict the motion parameters of the next moment internally in advance, and then take feed-forward measures to improve the motion performance.
♦Reduce system wiring complexity
In the pulse communication mode, the controller needs to communicate with each drive through pulse cables, which often results in dense cables and complicated connections for machinery and equipment. In the EtherCAT bus communication mode, the controller only needs to connect with one of the drives using a cable. The rest of the drives only need to be connected to the drive in a chain mode.
♦Reduce the requirements for the number of control unit ports, thereby reducing costs
Multiple bus-type stepper drives only need one port to connect to the motion control unit (motion controller or motion control card), no pulse module, and no need to increase the number of control cards because of the large number of drives. There is no need to consider the limitation of the number of computer slots. It can save the cost of pulse module, control card and industrial computer.
